In these conditions the expression "The Company" means Uni-Essentials. The following are terms and conditions for the sale of goods that will govern any contract for sale that the company enters with you the purchaser. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. We advise you to print and keep safe a copy of these Terms and Conditions.


Use of the Uni-Essentials web site

Copyright in the web site, its design, layout, look, appearance and graphics remain our property. The contents of the web site may be downloaded printed or copied for personal use only.

The Company has not reviewed all of the sites linked to the site and is not responsible for the content of any off-site pages or links to any other sites. Viewing all other sites is at you own risk. The Company accepts no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under its strict control.

Any information found on the web site is intended for guidance only. The web site and the products described in it are subject to change without notice.

The Company does not guarantee that the Uni-Essentials web site will be compatible with all hardware and software which may be used by visitors to the site. The company will not be liable for damage to, or viruses that may affect, your computer equipment, software, data, or other property as the result of your access to, use of or browsing of this web site or your downloading of any material, data, text or images.


Orders may be taken by credit card over the secure Internet connection or over the telephone. Credit cards excepted include Mastercard, Visa and Delta.

Orders may also be placed by e-mail/post, although will only be secure once the Company has received the cheque or postal order in payment for the products. Confirmation of receipt will follow.

All orders must have a delivery address within England, Wales and Central Scotland and must have a valid postal code. Orders may be delayed if one is not included.

Orders by cheque need to be received at least 10 working days before the due delivery date in order to guarantee order.

Orders by credit card need to be received at least 7 working days before the due delivery date in order to guarantee order.

At all times when referring to an order placed the purchaser must specify the Company order number.

Prices are correct at time of print 01/02/01.

The company reserves the right to change prices without notification.

All prices are inclusive of VAT (which will be included at the current rate on day of delivery).

Delivery will be charged at current service level agreement prices in accordance with the chosen courier.

Items included in the packs may only be added to, items cannot be replaced or exchanged for other items.

Some items & combinations of items may require an increased storage box size. This will be discussed on an individual basis, as each pack will be different.

Variation of contract not permitted. Exclusion of collated contract.

The Company takes no liability for consequential loss except those within the contemplation of the purchaser.

All offers are subject to availability and we will inform you if anything is out of stock.

Items may vary from those displayed in Company photographs. Whilst every effort is made to reproduce colours as accurately as possible some slight variations may occur in the actual colour of items due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations will only be accepted for unwanted products for refund within seven days of delivery, provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition. You the purchaser must inform the Company in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days starting on the day after the day the goods are delivered to you the purchaser. You must return the goods to the company at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost.

The Company would like to remind you that once you have notified us of your desire to cancel the contract there is a legal requirement for you to take care of the goods. You must return the goods to the Company at your cost to the relevant address: Returns Department, 32 Lowry Way, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 1UF, England. Monies will be returned within 30 days of cancellation.


All products are of high street quality and are individually guaranteed by a manufacturer warranty against normal wear and tear.

Nonstick products should not be used with metal or abrasive materials.


Delivery is restricted to England, Wales and Central Scotland. Delivery is based on a standard 2-3 day tariff.

Goods will be delivered within 30 days, unless you the purchaser has agreed to a longer time. If the Company is unable to deliver within this time, you the purchaser will be notified immediately to agree another time. Should another time not be agreed you the purchaser will be entitled to a refund.

Where the purchaser specifies a dispatch method or destination, which is not ordinarily used by the Company, the Company reserves the right to charge for the excess costs of dispatch and delivery.

Deliveries are made on weekdays between 9am and 5pm. Note: no deliveries will be made on weekends or bank holidays unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Company. If you are not at home, you will receive a note with contact details for arranging a convenient delivery time.

The Company will endeavor to deliver at the time stated but delivery dates shall be regarded as approximate only.

Failure to deliver at the time stated will not be sufficient cause for cancellation and the Company will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, or expenses consequential or otherwise suffered by the Purchaser.

Date of delivery will be agreed when payment has been made. Specific times can not be given. No liability will be taken for late delivery.

Should the original delivery date agreed not be met the purchaser will have the option to cancel the order.

The Purchaser shall not refuse to accept delivery of any consignment or installment on account of any shortage or defect in any other delivery.

In the event of non delivery by the Company the Purchaser must notify the Company in writing no later than 3 days after the due delivery date.

All breakage's in transit or short delivery should be notified of within 72 hours of delivery date. No claims will be accepted after this date. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

4.Title and Risk (Scotland)

Property and title in the goods shall not pass to the Purchaser until the price due in the terms of the contract has been received by the Company.


These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any disputes entered into shall be referred to the English Courts.


You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale.
